Powerful words

I was taking a trip to Jacksonville with my dad, mom's parents, and my sister. We drove there and were there just a short while when my grandparents announced that we'd be leaving. I was upset, and, as we were driving back out of the city, I started yelling about how I wasn't ready to leave. I hadn't seen or done everything I had wanted. We were approaching the city limits when I spotted a large blue banner with white lettering. It read: DON'T LEAVE UNTIL YOU'VE GOT WHAT YOU CAME FOR. I immediately got out of the car and enjoyed the city with my friends.

A woman was walking toward the end of a boat that was floating in the middle of the ocean. There were others around, but they weren't paying much attention to her. She had a fishing pole in one hand and was wearing a life vest. She jumped into the water to fish as she bobbed just behind the boat. She cast her line only to have it catch on something beneath the water. It pulled her quickly forward, and she hit her head hard on the back of the boat. This happened again, and it took all her strength to grip the boat to try to climb aboard. As she was attempting to board the ship, it took off. She slipped back into the water. "I love nursing!"

I dreamed that I was working on my telemetry unit. I was joking around with the other nurses; there was an ease (currently non-existent) to our working relationships. At one point I was sitting and talking about how easy it was to nurse, but I said, "I love nursing!" and laughed because everyone knew that I still only had one patient as I was a new nurse. Of course, it was easy.

House Hunting

My mom drove me to a bank to find out what I needed to apply for a loan to purchase a house. Once inside, we stood in line. A woman behind us called out, asking for a quarter. I started to reach into my wallet, but someone ahead got to it first.

When we got back to the car, I noticed that I had three stethoscopes.

On our way home, my mom stopped in front of a house that was for sale. It was a big, two-story house. We walked up the drive. Won't you be my neighbor?

I was in my house with my sister, and we had locked down the house and turned off all lights because of a zombie virus sweeping our neighborhood. We watched an infected neighbor entered her own house where we knew her two girls would be, but it was too great a risk for us to open up our own house and enter the other to try to help them. Suddenly the two girls ran out into their yard, and I threw open our door and yelled for them to come inside. As they headed our way, their zombie mom came running after them, and she was catching up. I slammed the door shut after the girls ran through and held it closed while yelling for my sister (standing right next to me) to lock the door. She turned the lock, and I let the door go only to see it start to fall open. I again threw all of my weight and strength against the door as the zombie started pushing on it, and I watched in horror to see that our door wouldn't lock.
